Admins can now define both Branches and Departments for their company to easily manage the staff and provide selective access to Branch Managers and Attendance Managers based on branch and department combinations.

What is the difference between a Branch and a Department?

Branches are individual locations from where your company staff operates. If you use the geofencing feature provided by SalaryBox, your staff will only be able to mark their attendance within the radius you have set for your respective branch location to which the staff belongs.

Departments are not linked to location, but instead the nature of the role. For example: Sales, Support, HR, etc.
