What are Custom Leaves?

Company leaves may vary from industry to industry. Thus, Custom Leaves allows you to add standard leaves to your company/industry.

In the SalaryBox application, you can add custom leaves per your company’s leave policies and make leave management easier. Also, you can edit the leaves given in the app as per your preference.

To add custom leaves or to edit leaves in the SalaryBox app, follow these steps on your preferred device.

How to Add Custom Leaves?


1. Open the SalaryBox app and go to Settings.

2. Select Attendance & Leaves.

3. Then, click on Custom Leaves under the Leaves & Holidays section.

4. Select Add New Leave to add a new leave in the app.

5. Enter the leave name in the Name field and click on Add Leave.

6. Once done, the leave will be added.

You can tap on the given leave and click on Edit to edit its name. Re-name the leave and click on Update to save it.


1. Open the SalaryBox desktop application and go to Settings.

2. Scroll down to the Attendance & Leaves section and select Manage Company Leaves.

3. Click on Add New at the bottom, and an empty box will appear.

4. Enter the Leave Name in it and click on a green check mark icon next to it on the right side.

5. Once done, the custom leave will be added.

If needed, you can edit the existing leaves by clicking on the pencil icon on the right side of the leave name. Re-name the leave and click on the green check mark icon to update the changes.
