How to Edit Leave Balance in SalaryBox?


The Need for Editing Leave Balance

If an employee works on a holiday/Sunday in exchange for an extra leave or takes leave due to an emergency, you can change their balance in no time and make leave management easier.


Note that the employer can edit the leave balance only if they have assigned leave limits to the employee. To assign leave limits to an employee, click here.


Follow the steps below if you want to change the leave balance of an employee in the SalaryBox app.


How to Edit Leave Balance in SalaryBox?

Android

1. Open the SalaryBox app and click on the employee name you need to change the leave balance for.

2. Click on Edit at the top right corner and scroll down to the Leave Balance.

3. Tap on Leave Balance, and the employee’s available leaves will appear.

4. Select Edit Leave Balance and add/subtract the leaves from the respective fields.


If you have added custom leaves, you can make changes to it as well. To know how to add custom leaves, click here.



Desktop

1. Open the SalaryBox desktop application and select Edit next to the Employee Name you want to change the leave balance for.

2. Click on Edit Employee from the drop-down and scroll down to the Leaves section.

3. Select Edit Leave Balance.

4. Now you can add/subtract the leaves from the respective fields.

5. Once done, click on Update Leave Balance to save the changes.
