SalaryBox allows you to set different salary templates for employees, making it easy for employers to salary calculation separately. 

For example, if a set of employees have a similar salary breakdown, then you can set a specific salary template for all of them. You can create multiple salary templates and can set them for specific employees. Also, note that you can neither edit nor delete salary templates.

The steps are given below to set/change the salary template on yourandroid device.

1. Go to the SalaryBox app's home screen and tap on the Employee Name you wish to change the salary template for.

2. Click on Editat the top right corner.

3. Then, click onSalary Details when the next screen appears.

4. Click on theSalary Structure box.

5.Then, select SalaryBox provided breakdown or the preferred template from the drop-down.

6. Tap onUpdate CTCat the bottom right corner to save the changes.

You can also add allowance and deduction for an employee. Click onadd allowanceoradd deductionsto know how to add them.

Desktop

To set your salary template for the specific employees on the desktop application, refer to the steps given below.

1. Open the SalaryBox app on your desktop first.

2. Click on Edit at the employee name you want to change the salary template for.

3. Then, select Edit Employee from the drop-down.

4.Now scroll down to the Salary section and click on Edit Salary Amount and ESI/EPF Allowances.

5. Tap in front of the Salary Structure to set/change the salary template.

6. Choose your preferred salary template from the drop-down menu and click on Apply Template.

7. Once done, tap on Update Salary Breakdown for the final save.
