How to Create an Attendance Kiosk?
Attendance Kiosk is a feature that allows you to mark employees’ attendance in an office location without requiring to buy expensive biometric devices. Any recent Android Phone with a functional front camera can be set up as Attendance Kiosk by installing the SalaryBox App on it and then logging into an Attendance Kiosk user profile. You can then install the device in a public location in your office (For example, near entry gate) and staff can use the device to mark their attendance using selfie.
Note that adding an Attendance Kiosk will take one seat from your allowed staff count limit in your purchased plan. It means that if you purchased a plan of 10 employees, you could only add 9 employees to the application if you have set 1 attendance kiosk.
Attendance Kiosk can be set up for AI Face recognition based attendance in case you are subscribed to SB Attendance Pro. For more information regarding this, please check out our article AI Face Kiosk Android App
You can create an attendance kiosk on anandroid device only. Follow the steps to create an attendance kiosk:
1. First, open the SalaryBox app on your android device.
2. Go to Settings and click on Attendance& Leaves.
3. Now, tap on the Attendance Kiosk.
4. Here, you will find a Create Attendance Kiosk button.
5.Click on it, Name the kiosk, and add the Phone Number. Finally, tap on the Add Attendance Kiosk to create a kiosk.
6. Youcan add, edit, and delete the kiosks for different branches underManage Attendance Kiosk.
