How to Add Dearness Allowance in SalaryBox?
Allowances are the additional benefits paid to the employees along with their salary. There are different types of allowances available; one is the Dearness Allowance.It is provided to the employees to reduce the inflation impact.
To add dearness allowance to the employee’s CTC, the steps below can help you.
Note that the allowance will be calculated monthly as per the employees' attendance and can be seen in the employee's salary slip.
1. Go to the SalaryBox app Settings.
2. Go to Salary Settings.3. Select Manage Salary (CTC Template).
4. Click on Create Template from the bottom right corner.
5. Add the Template Name and basic salary percentage first.
6. AddBasic Percentage.7. Click on Add Allowances right below the basic salary percentage.
8. Then, tap on the Dearness Allowance checkbox from the pop-up menu. Then, selectSaveto add it.
7. Once done, set the percentage in the dialogue box.
8. You can set other factors also, such as PF, ESI, PT, etc. if required.
9. Once done, click on Create Template to save it.
1. Open the SalaryBox app on your iPhone, and tap on the employee name you want to add dearness allowance for.
2. Click on the three dots icon at the top right corner.
3. Then select Edit Employeefrom the appeared list.
4. Scroll to the Salary Payment Info and select Edit ESI, EPF, and Allowance.
5. Choose Add Allowance under Earning section.
6. When a pop-up appears, click on the Dearness Allowance checkbox.
7. Click on Add at the bottom, and the Dearness Allowance field will be created.
8. Enter the basic salary and Dearness Allowance per month.
9. Now, click on Update to update the entry.
1. Once you open the SalaryBox desktop application,go to Settings.
2. Scroll down to Salary Settings and click on Create Salary Template.
3. Select Create Salary Template.
4. Enter the Template Name and basic salary percentage.
5. Then, click on Add Allowance and select Dearness Allowance from the list.
6. After adding, enter the dearness allowance percentage in the given box.
7. If required, you can also add employees’ other deductions, such as PF, ESI, PT, etc.
8. Select Save to save the template.
