How to add Sales Incentives and Commissions for multiple staff in SalaryBox?

If your staff earns additional income apart from their regular salary such as Sales Incentives, Commissions, Tips, Bonuses (eg quarterly bonus, performance-linked bonus etc) that are not linked to staff attendance and change from month to month, SalaryBox supports adding such components in bulk through excel file upload on web.salarybox.in

This option can be found under Calculate Salary Section > Pending tab > "Add Other Earnings".



Step 1 : Select the staff you want to add other income for and then tap on Import Earnings to download the Salarybox format file. They can then add the component name in individual columns and upload back to add for all staff in same file. 



 


Step 2 : Download the template format sample by clicking on "Download Template" in above popup



Step 3: Open the downloaded template file and add your required Earning Columns and their values
Admins can enter name of the earning in column name and also add multiple columns as per their need to update multiple type of earnings at once

Step 4 :Once you have added all required earnings for the relevant staff, you need to upload the modified file by clicking on Import Earnings in the below popup

 

Important Notes : 

#1 This feature is only meant for adding additional earning components , existing earnings cannot be modified through this feature. 
#2 Earnings added through this feature are not part of CTC and are only applicable for the payroll month as per the payment date you enter during file upload
#3 Breakdown of earnings added through this feature are available in Payslips under Other Earnings section
#4 We do not support breakdown of Other Earnings in Salary Report CSV format
