Troubleshooting Attendance Issues
You're facing problems with attendance tracking or syncing in SalaryBox.
1. Biometric Attendance Not Syncing

Go to Settings > Biometric > Manage Employee and confirm the employee is added with a 6-digit ID.

On the biometric device, go to Menu > User Management > User View and ensure the same ID is assigned.

Make sure Wi-Fi is connected and Server Mode is turned on with the correct Server IP and Port.

If the employee was manually added to the device, delete them and re-add them using the SalaryBox software.

Wait 15–20 minutes for the sync to complete.

If syncing still fails, contact SalaryBox Support.
2. GPS Attendance Issues

Ensure Location Permission is enabled:
Go to App Info > Permissions > Location > Allow.

Check if your branch has the correct location coordinates in Settings > My Branches.

Try increasing the GPS radius if employees are slightly outside the defined area.

Confirm the phone has a stable internet connection.

If issues persist, contact Support for remote help via AnyDesk or Google Meet.
3. Employee Marked Present Despite Short Working Hours

Check the employee’s punch-in and punch-out times in the Attendance Dashboard.

Review the assigned shift settings to ensure they’re correct.

Make sure the Early Leaving Policy is set under Penalty and Overtime.

Confirm if your plan includes advanced attendance rules—some features may be plan-specific.
