How to set Leave Policy for your staff on SalaryBox

SalaryBox provides admins the ability to assign and update Leave Policy and Balances in bulk through the web app that can be accessed on web.salarybox.in

SalaryBox provides 2 policy types for Leave Policy

 - Monthly Leave Policy : use this leave policy if some of your staff's leave balances lapse at each month end. Leave balances are added to your staff's existing balances every month end as per policy set.For example, if you set 2 Privilege Leaves in your staff's leave policy for a monthly policy, your staff will get 2 leaves added to their existing PL Balance at every month end.

 - Yearly Leave Policy : use this leave policy if some of your staff's leave balances lapse at year end (calender year). Leave balances are added to your staff's existing balances at every month end by dividing the allowance leaves in policy by 12. For example, if you set 15 Privilege Leaves in your staff's leave policy for a yearly policy, your staff will get 15/12 = 1.25 leaves added to their existing PL Balance at every month end.
