How to setup Leave Balances, Policy, and Holidays?

How to setup Leave Balances, Policy, and Holidays?


Click on ‘My Team’ and under that, you will find ‘Leave Balances & Policy’.


Let’s set up the leave policy first.


  1. Click on > ‘Leave Policy’ and further click on > ‘Update Leave Policy’.


  1. Under this, you will find two different options under Select Leave Cycle for Monthly or Yearly.

  1. Monthly means, you are providing leaves every month

  2. Yearly means, you are providing leaves every year



  1. Add the number of leaves to the leaves type (Casual Leave, Privileged Leave, Sick Leave)


  1. Now you will be getting these two options Allowed Leaves and Carry-forward Leaves.

  1. Allowed Leaves are basically, the number of leaves you are providing to your employee (Monthly or Yearly

  2. Carry-forward Leaves are basically, the number of unused leaves that can be added to the next month or year


      5. Add leaves according to your company policy
