Add New Employees to SalaryBox

You are bringing new staff on board and need to add their details into SalaryBox to start managing their attendance, payroll, and profiles. This helps keep your employee records complete and up to date.

From Website

Adding staff one by one 
  1. Go to ‘My Team’

  2. Click on ‘Add staff’ and further ‘Add one staff

  3. Fill in: Name, Job Title, Branch, Department, Mobile Number, Gender, Email, DOJ, Address

  1. Once done, tap on ‘Save’


Note: All the aforementioned details are not mandatory apart from Name, Branch, and Mobile Number.

Adding staff in bulk
  1. Go to ‘My Team

  2. Click on ‘Add staff’ and further ‘Add multiple staff

  3. Now select the Branch to add staff and download the template

  4. In the downloaded template, add the following details in the required format:

  • Name

  • Country Code (eg, 91) (Mandatory for mobile numbers outside India)

  • Phone Number (Mandatory)

  • Email IDs, DOB, DOJ, Employee ID, Job Title, Employee Type

  • Addresses, Gender, Marital Status, Blood Group

  • PF/ESI/UAN, Aadhaar, PAN, Bank & Guardian details

  • Emergency Contact info


  1. Once all the details have been added, upload the same updated Excel file to ‘Upload Staff Details’ and the staff will be added in bulk.


Note: All the aforementioned details are not mandatory apart from Name, Country Code (eg, 91) (Mandatory for mobile numbers outside India), and Mobile Number.


Adding staff by Invite Staff

  1. Go to ‘My Team

  2. Click on ‘Add staff’ and further ‘Invite staff

  3. Choose one of the invite options:

  • Invite via Link – Share the invitation link with your team members through copy link, Share on WhatsApp, and Share via Email

  • Invite via QR Code

  1. Tap “Print QR” to print the QR code.      

  2. Display the QR code at your workplace.    

  3. Team members can scan the QR code using their phones and join instantly.


From Android App

Option 1: Add Staff Manually

  1. Open the SalaryBox App.

  2. Tap the “Add Staff” option located in the bottom right corner.

  3. Enter the staff details:

    • Staff Name 

    • Mobile Number

    • Select Role of the Staff in the Company from the Permissions option:

      • Employee

      • Attendance Manager

      • Branch Admin

       4.  Finally, tap “Add Employee” to save.


Option 2: Add Staff from Contacts

  1. Open the SalaryBox App.

  2. Tap the “Add Staff” option located in the bottom right corner.

  3. Tap on “Add From Contacts.” 

  4. Search and select the staff member’s number from your phone’s contact list.

  5. The Name and Mobile Number will be automatically filled in.

  6. Select Role of the Staff in the Company from the Permissions option:

    • Employee

    • Attendance Manager

    • Branch Admin

     7. Finally, tap “Add Employee” to save.
                        

From iOS

Option 1: Add Staff Manually

  1. Open the SalaryBox App.

  2. Tap on the “Add Employee” option at the bottom right corner.

  3. Enter the Employee Name.

  4. Enter the Staff Mobile Number.

  5. Select the correct Branch from the list.

  6. In the Salary Payment Info, enter 0.

  7. Finally, tap on the “Add” option in the top right corner to save the employee.


Option 2: Add from Contacts


  1. Open the SalaryBox App.

  2. Tap on “Add from Contacts” at the top of the screen.

  3. Select the Staff Name from your phone’s contact list.

  4. The Name and Mobile Number will be auto-filled.

  5. Select the correct Branch.

  6. In the Salary Payment Info, enter 0.

Finally, tap on the “Add” option in the top right corner to save.
